I was raised in big-hearted kitchens where I baked delicious desserts with two of my favourite women in the world, my nonna and my grandma, and with them I learnt the love of baking and how to bake with love.

I moved to Newcastle in 2018, and in 2020, through a difficult season, returned to the kitchen. Baking became a steady, hopeful ritual, and I fell in love with it all over again.

Soon after, Dalla Luna was born, which means “from the moon” in Italian — a nod to my cat, Luna, and to the idea that something ethereal can be crafted by hand.
